Nov 3    Pedal + Paddle
Come out for a feel-good morning of bicycling and paddling. Start the morning with a 14-mile bike ride along the paved and gravel back roads of Heard County. At Riverside Park in downtown Franklin, switch to your kayak/canoe/paddle board and take to the Chattahoochee River as it gently flows for five miles into the headwaters of West Point Lake and the end destination, Snake Creek Park.

Date/Time Details: Classes will begin on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will meet each Tuesday for nince consecutive weeks.
Fees/Admission: Cost is $109 per couple for course materials and a light snack prior to each session.  Seats are limited so don't wait.

Pre-Registration is Required.  Single parent may bring family member or friend since registration covers two persons.

Nov 10    Coweta CASA Justice League 5K/10K Run
The 3rd Annual 5K/10K Road Race & 1 Mile Fun Run is presented by the Coweta CASA.  All proceeds from this event benefit Coweta CASA. The vison of Coweta CASA is to provide a screened, trained, and supportive advocate for every child in foster care in Coweta and Heard counties.

T-shirts are guaranteed for all runners who preregister by November 1, 2018.

Early Registration ends on November 5, 2018.
Late registration and early packet pick up for registered runners and walkers is Friday, November 9 from 4 PM to 7 PM in front of Kendra's at 12 Jefferson Street, Newnan, Georgia.

The Stewards of Children program is the only nationally available program proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes, and change child-protective behaviors. This revolutionary program is for any responsible adult who cares about the welfare of children. It is also appropriate for youth-serving organizations (sports leagues, day care centers, after school programs, children's clubs, church groups, and more).
